A: Tentative answer: Monthly or Bimonthly. My productivity level may fluctuate given my freelance or current life circumstances, but I’m wholly committed to updating this story as consistently as possible.

A: I’d give this story a PG rating for fantasy violence, scary moments, and minor dark themes.

Q: How would you briefly describe the plot?

A: A gentle soul discovers the strength within to confront an impending darkness through compassion and the aid of her extraordinary friends. Think Secret of Nimh meets Final Fantasy.

Q: What program and brushes do you use to create The Fawn’s Tale?

A: Clip Studio Paint with modified versions of Kecky’s Brushes à la Mode.

Q: What have you learned from making webcomics?

A: I’ve learned to take creative risks that have proven both fun and fulfilling; Taking as much time to develop a concrete plan helps me maintain focus; Burnout can and will happen, but it’s ok to take breaks. I’m just one person taking on a slightly ambitious project, so giving myself the grace to unwind by spending time with friends, playing video games, or catching up on a good series/book/comic can end up being a great source of inspiration to press on.
